Main advantages
The passenger on his smartphone marks the start (check-in) and end (check-out) of the trip, and the system calculates the fare based on the data of the route traveled. In the case of multiple trips, the system can select the most favorable fare for the passenger for all the trips he made on a given day.
How does it work?
In order for the system to correctly locate the stops at which a passenger starts and ends a trip, vehicles should be equipped with radio tags transmitting information about their number. This information is then sent to the application of the user performing the CICO operation. Based on this, the system makes the relevant calculations.
Thanks to the use of beacon devices (powered from the vehicle's installation or from batteries with a two-year operation), the solution can be applied even in infrastructures without a permanent power supply.
