REMONDIS Group companies have started testing a new electric garbage truck. The vehicle required systems that allow monitoring its operation, tracking the waste collection process, and recording the containers collected.
Solution
The garbage truck was equipped with an integrated system package, with all data collected and displayed on the ICHI System platform:
- Video Monitoring
Cameras mounted on the vehicle capture the working area and the waste collection process. The footage is available in real time on the ICHI System platform, and recordings are archived to serve as documentation in case of complaints or traffic incidents. - GPS Tracking
With the GPS module, dispatchers can track the truck on a map in real time. ICHI System records the route, allows comparison with the schedule, and supports the optimization of future trips. - RFID Identification System
Each container has an RFID tag that is automatically read during collection. Information about the time and location of emptying is sent directly to ICHI System, enabling full tracking and eliminating the need for manual reporting. - ICHI Integration
ICHI System consolidates data from cameras, GPS, and RFID into a single dashboard. Dispatchers can see the vehicle’s route, the list of emptied containers, and camera footage in one place, significantly enhancing oversight and simplifying fleet management. - Reporting and Analytics
The ICHI System platform allows generating reports for the city and clients – including routes, working time, RFID collections, and visual confirmations. The solution supports transparency and enables quick resolution of citizen inquiries.
