Tachograph ET-TACHO with ATS module

The Tachograph enhanced with the ATS module with permanent memory provides information about points and directions of travel where the ATS function is to be activated. The ATS function is activated at the relevant points using the information about the current train location. The use of a tachograph with a database of ATS points does not require the purchase and maintenance of expensive trackside infrastructure. This solution reduces the expenditure for traction vehicle equipment, reduces trackside infrastructure maintenance costs, and increases the level of train safety.

In such conguration, the tachographs are mounted in locomotives operated by PKP LHS. For our tachograph with ATS feature the Polish Oce of Rail Transport has issued a certicateof admission to exploitation for unlimited duration. This solution is patent pending.
