From Munich straight to the field
This year’s edition of IFAT proved to be particularly successful – discussions held earlier were formalized with an official agreement, which has now entered the implementation phase. Our team of engineers and deployment specialists is beginning work on introducing advanced municipal technologies to a new market.
RFID systems to optimize waste management
The core pillar of the new project in Kosovo is the rollout of our proprietary waste container identification system, powered by RFID technology. This solution will allow the local operator to achieve:
- Automated data tracking: precise, real-time logging of every single waste collection.
- System accountability: complete control over the container database, eliminating discrepancies.
- Logistics optimization: access to accurate data that enables smarter route planning for fleet vehicles and significantly reduces operational costs.
Acknowledgments to our Partners
Launching such an important venture would not be possible without the commitment of key organizations in the region. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the PAMKOS association for their professional coordination of the entire process, the opportunity to cooperate, and their immense trust. We also express our gratitude to Ekoregjioni – we are thrilled that our technologies will be supporting your daily operations and driving the advancement of modern waste management.
Another step towards smart cities
Expanding our footprint into Kosovo marks another major milestone in our global growth and reinforces that ELTE Group technology meets the real-world demands of modern, smart municipalities across Europe. Following a highly successful week at the exhibition, we are fully energized and moving straight into field execution. Stay tuned for updates on this rollout and our other international projects!
