Summer and Winter Road Maintenance

ELTE supports municipalities and private companies in maintaining safe and clean roads by providing a monitoring system for specialized vehicles. We also offer sensors for snow plows and salt spreaders.

ET Roads is a monitoring system for specialized municipal vehicles such as plow trucks and sweepers. The system supports and controls processes related to summer and winter road maintenance.

The snow plow salt trucks are equipped with plow position sensors and salt spread sensors that monitor their operation. Information on the operation of these sensors is transmitted to the ICHI system along with other data, such as recorded location and time.
On modern sweepers and salt spreaders, it is also possible to read data from the CAN bus, such as the amount and width of salt spreading, brush operation and others.
