4th National Conference Waste in the Municipality

The 4th National Conference Waste in the Municipality will focus on the challenges facing the waste management industry in light of changing regulations.

 

This year's subtitle of the conference is: Waste management challenges.

The waste management industry is facing a number of further changes and regulations that will significantly affect its operation. The conference aims to introduce and discuss these challenges to help participants prepare for the upcoming changes.

 

The biggest changes and regulations facing Local Governments and Municipalities:
– implementation of the deposit system and Extended Producer Responsibility,
– introduction of selective collection of textiles and the division of the repair and construction waste fraction,
– implementation of the PPWR directive on packaging, among others.

 

An enrichment of the conference will be the technical trip planned on 13.06.2024r “ON THE TRAIL OF THE GARBAGE TRUCK”. Participants riding on the “track” of a garbage truck, will have the opportunity to learn about the route of waste – from the residents of the Mazurian Intercommunal Union – Waste Management to the Municipal Waste Disposal Plant in Spytkowo.
